This should be interesting, to say the least. Adding some Hannah Montana guy, Kim Kardashian and Lacey Schwimmer to a show I already dislike certainly guarantees that the only part of this show I'll be watching is guest professional dance performances.

Can you tell me why you don't like it but you like SYTYCD (which I hate)?
I'm only thrilled about one of the celebs but happy to see Corky on there...Lacey I like but since I've taken classes under Benji and his father I'd rather see him... It's going to be interesting to see how she handles choreographing other routines besides West Coast Swing. And I'm happy to be able to watch Derek, Julianne, and Tony more :)
I don't like the format of the show. I find the people on it irritating 99% of the time. I would rather watch talented professional or pre-professional dancers dance together (SYTYCD) than watch celebrities, many with little or no dance training or talent, dance with professional ballroom dancers (DWTS). And I just don't like it.

See I can't stand SYTYCD because it's so much like American Idol and the people who come out of it are just in it for the Fame. I like people who make themselves famous because they're talented, not just one group of Judges or America think is talented but half the time they aren't. The only reason I watched the second season of the show is because Benji was on and I've taken classes under him. He's worked and competed and that to me is much better.

And a lot of the other people on the show have gone on to have successful careers dancing and choreographing through the connections they made on the show. Many others danced professionally in companies before even auditioning for the show. Are they really that famous? No. To a relatively small group of people for a relatively small amount of time, they are, but after the hype dies down, a lot of people don't remember their names.

I know but I just hate the format. I mean there are some truly talented people on both shows (Kelly Clarkston, Fantasia Barino, couple others). I also do not like the fact that they make fun of the people who try very hard and are probably only in it to be on TV but I still don't like that they exploit that.
